Furrow irrigated raised bed planting (FIRB)
· Construct
FIRB of 67cm width (top width of bed-37cm; furrow-30 cm).
· On
the raised beds, grow crops like rice, maize, wheat, or chickpea, and apply irrigation
water in the furrows.
· Suitable
for most of the soil types (sandy loam to loam soils).
