• Complete harvesting and threshing to avoid germination at field especially hybrid variety such as Ajay and Rajalaxmi.
• Spray common salt at 5% to prevent germination of seed and spoilage of straw from moulds
• Post-harvest losses can be reduced by threshing in a covered threshing floor cum drying yard.
