Field crops + horticulture + poultry + goatery + mushroom integrated farming system model in one-hectare area. The production system is suitable for adoption in Eastern Ghat High land Zone

Area Requirement for the model:  One-hectare area

Enterprise and area allotment: Allocation of 70% area for field crops (rice, toria, green gram, black gram), 20% area for horticulture (fruits, vegetables, root and tuber crops) and rest 10% area for livestock (50 back yard poultry birds and 5-10 goats) and 100 beds of mushroom in 2 cycle.

Income: With optimum management the system gives yield of 3.5 t of paddy, 4.0 t of paddy straw, 0.5 t of oil seed and pulses, 250 kg of mushroom, 2 t of vegetables and fruits besides eggs and meats. The system gives net income of Rs. 1, 00,000 -150000 per annum/ha with B: C ratio of 2.6.
