Govt.
of India promotes greenhouse farming and offer a subsidy for greenhouse farming
through the horticulture department. The government can give a subsidy of 50%
up to 50 Lakhs rupees for the project cost of greenhouse construction. Subsidy
percentage varies from state to state. In Odisha a maximum subsidy up to 50%
can be obtained from state horticulture department with the support of National
Horticulture Mission (NHM), National Horticulture Board (NHB) and Mission for
Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH).
