A) If 2 fully developed larvae/hill observed during early to late tillering stage then select below chemicals

  • Mix Kerosene in standing water.
  • Spray Carbaryl 50 WP @ 900 g/ha or apply Carbaryl dust @ 30 kg/ha or Quinalphos 25 EC 80 ml.
  • Spray phenthoate 50 EC 1.0 L in 500 L water/ha  

B) When the damage exceeds 1-2 cases per hill spray fipronil 2ml/lit
