Soil and Climate
It requires moderate temperature ranging from 18°C to 30°C. Can’t tolerate very low temperature. May be grown as early summer
crop. It can be grown best in light textured soils rich in nutrients and
organic matter. The ideal pH is 6.0-7.0 for its growth.
