ETL Based chemical control
If 60 hoppers per 25 net sweeps or 5 hoppers/hill at vegetative stage or 10 hoppers/hill at flowering stage or 1-2 hoppers/hill in tungro endemic area is observed then select insecticides from below list.
1. Broadcast carbofuron 3G @ 3.5 kg or
Phorate 10G @1 kg or Phorate 10G @ 10 kg/ha mixed with sand.
2. Spray Phaspamidon 40 SL @ 50 mL or Phosalone 35EC @ 120 mL or Acephate 50 WP @ 700 g/ha or Ethofenprox 10 EC @ 500 ml/ha or Imidacloprid 200 SL @ 125 ml/ha
