This agro-climatic zone consists of six districts viz. Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurdha, Nayagarh.
The climate is Hot & Humid with average annual rainfall of 1449 mm and temperature varying from 11.5 oC – 39 oC.
