CSA Xpert

This is a peculiar habit in which birds start picking feathers, toes, combs etc. of one another. This habit may develop due to overcrowding of birds in a confined area and due to nutritional deficiency. Treatment by adding 2-4% extra salt in the feed is effective. In acute case the upper mandible of the bird showing the picking habit may be trimmed by sharp knife or they may be put under isolation.
