·            Pre-emergence application of bensulfuron methyl + pretilachlor @ 3 kg/ha (pre-mix formulation) fb one inter-culture at 45 DAS, OR

·        Pre-emergence  application  oxyflurofen  0.50 kg/ha+ two hand weeding at 20 and 45 DAS, OR

·        Apply Oxyfluorfen at 0.25 kg/ha + one hand weeding at 20 DAS, OR

·        Under severe weed pressure, pre-emergence applications of oxyfluorfen at 0.05 lit/ha along with two inter cultivations and one hand weeding, OR

·        Butachlor application at 0.75 kg a.i./ ha or 0.5 kg a.i./ ha along with one hoeing in low weed pressure
