Blackgram
Paira cropping (Relay cropping) - Paira cropping is sowing of
second crop after the flowering stage, 2-3 weeks before harvesting of the main
crops (Rice). Paira or Relay cropping is usually followed where long duration
rice is harvested late with high soil saturation and there is water scarcity
during the later stages of crop growth.
