Zero till drill
Zero till drill
Zero
till drill is used to sow the next crop in standing crop residues without any
field preparation. Zero till drill accomplishes four tasks such as clean a
narrow strip over crop row, open the soil for seed insertion, place the seed
and cover the seed. Major constrain associated with zero tillage in the weed
infestation, both in season and off-season which needs to be controlled by
sequential application of herbicides before swing (total killer/ pre-emergence)
as well as after crop establishment (post emergence).
