For Pure crop of Sugacane:
Pre-emergence application of Thiobencarb @ 1.25 kg
ai/ha, 3-4 DAP, or
Pre-emergence application of Atrazine @ 1.25 to 2.0
kg/ha, 3-4 DAP, or
Pre-emergence application ofAlachlor @ 1.5 kg/ha,3-4
DAP, or
Pre-emergence application ofPendimethalin @ 1.0
kg/ha, or
Post-emergence application of 2,4-D Na salt at 2.0
to 2.5 kg/ha (sprayed on weeds between 40 and 60
days), or
Post emergence application of atrazine (1 kg/ha) or
metribuzin (1kg/ha) may be done between the cane rows after final earthing
up, or
2,4-D Sodium salt (1-2 kg/ha) can be sprayed on
emerged / grown up broad leaved weeds depending upon their growth stage
after final earthing up, or
Post emergence directed spray of Glyphosate 1.5 –2.0
kg/ha, or
Post emergence directed spray of Paraquat dichloride
@ 0.5-1.0 kg/ha
