canopy has the capability to dissipate the splashing effect of raindrops and
minimizes its impact on the soil particle to detach and erode. Agronomic
measures involve a set of crop husbandry practices that do not involve any
modification of the land surface. These measures are recommended for less
rainfall areas with fairly erosion-resistant soils with a gentle slope of less
than 2%.
