This agro-climatic zone consists of two districts viz. Sundergarh, Deogarh. 

The climate is Hot & moist sub-humid with average annual rainfall of 1648 mm and temperature varying from 15 oC  – 38 oC

Following Agroforestry systems are recommended for this zone.

• Acacia mangium based silvipasture system
• Acacia mangium based agri-silvicultural system
• Acacia mangium + Guava based horti-silvi-pasture system
• Acacia mangium + Guava based agri-horti-silvicutural system
