Western central tableland

land agro climatic zone. The zone experiences hot and moist climate with mean
annual rainfall of 1527 mm, having mean maximum summer temperature of 40.00
C and mean minimum winter temperature of 12.4 0 C.
- Mahanadi and Brahmani river basin
mostly influences the agriculture production systems of the agro-climatic zone.
Board soil groups of the region are red and yellow, red and black, black, brown
forest and lateritic. Irrigation ratio of the region is 38.8%. Land types
varies from uplands to shallow low land.
