Soil and Climate
Though it requires cooler climate, but under climate controlled polyhouse it can be grown throughout the year. Well drained highly porus soil is recommended for better penetration of the roots. Ideal soil pH is 6.0-6.5 and EC value upto 1 dS m-1.
