Chemical Control

  •     Pre-emergence application of Pendimethalin @ 1-1.5 kg a.i./ha 3 days after sowing (DAS) followed by mechanical weed control using finger weeder at 25-30 DAS, OR
  •       Spray Bispyribac sodium @ 30 g a.i./ha at 10-15 DAS (or two-three leaf stage of weeds) to control early emergence grassy weeds and sedges, OR

  •       Spray Oxyfluorfen @150-200 g a.i./ha at 15-20 DAS (or 3-4 leaf stage of weeds), OR
  •       Spray Cyhalofop butyl @ 70-80 g a.i./ha at 15-20 DAS (or 3-4 leaf stage of weeds), OR

  •       Spray Fenoxaprop-p-ethyl (60 g a.i./ha) at 25-28 DAS (or 3-4 leaf stage of weeds)
