·         Under severe weed pressure: Atrazine @ 1.25 kg/ha 3 DAS + hand weeding on 45 DAS, OR

·         Mechanical weeding using twin wheel hoe at 20 DAS+ hand weeding at 40 DAS, OR

·         After 30-35 days, earthing up and inter-cultivation may be done after mechanical weeding at 20 DAS
