system refers to the crops, crop sequences and management techniques
used on a particular agricultural field over a period of years. Maximum
system productivity with minimum environmental impact can be achieved
by managing and organizing crops in a way to utilize the available
resources efficiently with beneficial interactions among themselves. Cropping system adjustment in the rice-based cropping system has the potential to reduce total GHG emissions by 5-10%.
