NRRI finger weeder

It can be used for upland as well as lowland rice.
Operator moves the handle forward and backward so that the weeds get uprooted by both direction motion.
The fingers of weeder can work between the rows and between the plants.
The fingers have been suitably spaced so that there is no clogging during operation.

It is low cost hand tool witch reduced labour requirement by 35-40% and was found to be ergonomically suitable for farm women.
