Demand management for IWRM
Demand management is to bring higher
efficiency in water use through conjunctive use of water coupled with pollution
control measures.This step promotes multiple uses of water and water
conservation through water quality management(pollution control and marginal
water use),rainwater management(agricultural and domestic supply,groundwater
recharge),groundwater management(higher infiltration and artificial
groundwater recharge)and watershed management (infiltration, vegetative
cover).
