Chemical management
- Foliar sprays in the evening with dichlorvos @ 1.5 ml/lit or chlorpyriphos 1 ml/lit or carbaryl 3 g/lit or neem oil 3 ml/lit + chlorpyriphos 1ml/lit.
- Avoid growing of castor in mango orchards to eliminate C. punctiferalis which comes as a fruit borer.
