Finger millet flour

Finger millet flour is prepared from whole grain finger millet and is very nutritious. It is rich in calcium, dietary fiber and is also gluten free. 

Steps for preparation

  • Dry roast the Ragi in a skillet on low heat.
  • Cool it completely. Otherwise it will lump up while grinding.
  • Run it for few seconds, give it a quick stir with a spoon.
  • It will take a complete 20-30 minutes to bring it to the Food mill powder consistency.
  • Make sure the flour is cooled (if warm) and then store it in an air tight container.
