Steps for preparation
- Soak
urad dal overnight, drain and grind without water. Heat ghee in a kadai. Add
semolina, wheat flour, gram flour and mix.
- Add
urad dal, mix well and sauté for 15-20 minutes on low heat, stirring
continuously, till the mixture becomes brown.
- Add
sugar, khoya and cook. Add green cardamom powder and mix.
- Turn off the heat, add chocolate powder and mix. Shape the mixture, with the help of two spoons, into a pinni.
- Make other pinnis in
a similar way. Garnish with almonds and serve.
