Steps for preparation
- Sesame
seeds are so tiny that you can place them on a dry flat-bottomed pan over
medium heat on your stove and begin toasting away. Keep stirring them and as
they heat up, they will begin popping and flying off the pan.
- Toss
your seeds into your food processor or blender (don't worry I only used a
blender), and begin blending away! The photos below show the various steps of
sesame seed grinding.
- Use a healthy sweetener like honey, organic raw sugar, maple syrup or date syrup and blend one more time to bring it together. unrefined cane sugar can also be used. Sweeten to taste.
- Hand made sesame
butter is ready.
