Identification Symptoms

  • Small, irregular necrotic patches appear on leaf lamina, more near to the mid rib.
  • Twisting of the leaves, lamina and petiole seen. Plants generally exhibit mosaic, mottling and necrosis of tissues of leaf lamina, Stunting of the plants.
  • Sudden necrosis, twisting and systemic infection of floral parts like calyx, bracts and capitulum.
  • Black or brown streaks on petiole, stem, underneath of flower head
