Steps for preparation

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350°F (180). Beat the margarine (1 ¼ cup) with the brown (1 cup) and granulated (1/2 cup) sugars in a large bowl until fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs (2 Nos.) and vanilla (1 tbsp.)
  • Stir the oats (2 cups) with the wheat flour (1 cup), quinoa (3/4 cup), baking powder (3/4 tsp), baking soda (3/4 tsp) and salt (1/2 tsp) in a separate bowl. Beat into the margarine mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips (1 cup), walnuts (1/2 cup), cranberries (1/2 cup), flax seeds (1/4 cup) and sunflower seeds (1/4 cup).
  • Scoop well-rounded tablespoonful of dough onto parchment paper line baking sheets. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until golden on the bottom.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
