Steps for preparation

  • Heat oil and butter in a non-stick wok. Add celery and garlic and saute.
  • Chop onion in a chopper and add to the wok and saute, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add tomato and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree and continue to saute.
  • Add moong, ½ cup water, salt and pepper powder and mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add penne and mix well.
  • Tear fresh basil and add. Add 3 tbsp. parmesan cheese and mix.
  • Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot.
