steps for preparation

  • Take a deep-bottomed mixing bowl and add sattu, corn flour, chilli powder, thymol seeds, garlic paste, ginger paste, turmeric and salt.
  • Pour in water in the mixture and knead it into a smooth dough. Divide the dough into small equal size portions.
  • Now using a rolling pin, flatten the dough pieces into a circle. Repeat until you finish the other portions too. Dry it under sun or using dryer and store it in airtight container until use.
  • Now heat refined oil in a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame and transfer the prepared papad in it. Deep fry the papad until it becomes crispy. Transfer it on a tissue to remove excess oil. Serve hot or store it.
