Steps for preparation

  • Soak rice for 3 hours(2-3 cups). 
  • Grind along with small piece of coconut and 5  cashews.
  • Boil milk in a vessel add bay leaf, peppercorns(1-2 tsp), cardamom(2-3), cashews and sliced raw coconut, (1/2 cup + 2-3 tsp) sugar, 3 cups milk, 1/5 tsp salt.
  • Then gradually add rice mixed to the milk and keep stirring to avoid lumps
