Method of Application

The recommended quantity inoculant is mixed with farmyard manure/compost (@10 kg inoculant plus 500 kg FYM or compost). The mixture is moistened with water to maintain 40-45% moisture and then covered with gunny bags to maintain higher temperature required for rapid multiplication of bacteria. Apply the mixture nearer to the root regions of different crop plants or broadcasted in one ha of main field just before planting.

Arka Microbial Consortium (AMC) : For the main field or soil application of one ha of land 12.5 kg of AMC can be mixed with 1250 kg of FYM and apply (5-10 kg) near the root zone of standing crop. Alternatively, it can be applied basally at the time of land preparation.
