ETL Based chemical control
If 60 number of thrips in 12 passes or rolling of the first leaf and second leaves in 10% seedlings is observed during nursery stage then select below mentioned insecticides
1. Spray Phosphamidon 40 SL@ 50 ml
2. Before 5 – 7 days of transplanting, spray Fipronil 0.3 G @ 33 kg/ha of nursery, Chlorpyriphos 20 EC @ 2,500 ml/ha or Quninalphos 25 EC @ 2,000 ml/ha.
